For the raclette one, you will need the following ingredients:
-5-6 slices of raclette cheese, not a full-fat one
-2 generous bread slices
–a red onion
–one clove of garlic
-1dl of dry white wine
–an egg-paprika and pepper (Christoph wanted to put some aromat, but it’s not allowed by my religion).
Start by grilling the bread slices into butter. If possible, do it directly in the dish you will put in the oven afterwards. Once the bread grilled, dip them in the white wine and put the raclette cheese slices on them. Then add a quarter of the red onion, the clove of garlic and some spices.
Put everything into the oven at 220°C during some minutes and until the cheese has melt, not grilled. Take the dish out of the oven, put the onion and the garlic aside and break an egg on it. Put it back into the oven until the egg is baked and the cheese is grilled.
You can enjoy them with little onions and a pickle (not for Christoph, he doesn’t like them).
For the second one, you will need (for two people):
-4 slices of bread
-200g of Gruyère cheese from our region and not any other disgusting thing from any unknown place
– some onion rings
–pepper and paprika.
Start by spreading the bread slices with butter and mustard, according to your taste. Then, put the thickest Gruyère on it. Finish with the onion rings and eventually add some pepper with a grating of ground pepper. Brown it in the oven at 220°C.
To be served with a small salad.
